You Rule Your Decisions, Not Your Fears
by Travis H. Flores I never pictured myself in a sad like the following one. I was excited about my profession, and saw myself wanting to apply what I had learned as a then recent college graduate to my first formal job, with great expectations of advancing. The pay was good, the position wasn’t too challenging, and over the years I settled in. I cannot remember exactly how much but it was an eternity. One day realize how mistaken I was by making myself being in the same position. In a nutshell, I avoided a healthy challenge and some responsibility – but it cost me some consequences of self-esteem. You will probably feel you are there because you have no further opportunities not because you are comfortable, and obviously not because you have decided it. As you feel little your expectations and context will also become little. Unless your expenses don’t increase year after year and you don’t have the desire to get that nicer car or house, you might find yourself outgrowing your income. When I think of the biggest reason I didn’t try to advance for all of those years, I now know that it was fear. Terrified even to consider making something different Executive Success Programs. And trust me, that, I did not solve it on my own, but with the help of a professional training seminar called Executive Success Programs (ESP). ESP is a great resource for breaking through internal barriers that stops professional advancement.
